To Live Again

Where you dare to tread,

no man has ever walked before

the words your lips are forming,

have only been uttered in lore.

That narrow unlit endless street,

once walked down, there's no return,

what possibly could driven you there?

What could have forced you take that turn?

"Your light shone far too false for me

no light could be so bright.

This street may be endlessly dark

but it's true and real for me tonight."

There's a deep thought here, clear in parts certainly .. maybe needs just a little explanation in another stanza but only if you feel it right to add. Your words seem protective of emotions, how much or little to say ..

I'm surprised by your note, as it does not fel in the least incomplete to me. You seem to be addressing a girl who is about to make a questionable decision, based on her fantasy of what love might hold in store. Her mind is attempting to persuade her that it's a less-than-stellar idea, but her heart aims to have it's way. Me like.
