A Poem by Daffodils
"

From my random thoughts of being a woman

"
Classical music all around the venue
People with smiles and greetings as I continue
I saw many flowers in the view
I think this is the start of something new

Surrounded with my beloved family
Friends, and relatives I also see
With gracious eyes looking at me
I suddenly feel consciously pretty

There I saw my dear father
Walking towards me, holding a flower
With his handsome looks forever
Smiling at me, showing the eager

Then I realized, I am now a lady
Stepping for the next stage of my journey
Not as the kid that I used to be
But the grown up woman, and the new me

At 18...more freedom, greater responsibility... Your rhyme scheme is well done and meticulously laid out :)

I like this poem, the feeling of discovery, that there is a whole new level to explore and find out....well done :)
