The Night

The Night

A Poem by Heidi Hallucination

The night before your almost death

I cry myself to sleep

Thinking of how you were almost dead

In that accident

I can't stop help but thinking

I could have saved you

I can't stop see what happened flash in and out of my head

I was fine while you were there lying

Lifeless on the cold cement floor

Bleeding til there was nothing more of you

Now you sit lifeless

In the hospital bed down the street

I could rememebr the sirens

Flashing between the broken glass

I remember the last word you said before it happened

You told me you loved me

But now you sit there

In that hospital bed

Thinking about me

Unable to see, talk,or speak to me

I lay in my bed thinking of you

Saying your going to get better

While you shed one tear
