Scales in Fall

The fall colors caressing my body,

each breeze capturing the waves,

I feel as if my body is dead...

an empty hollow casket of bitterness and desperation,

I don't understand these emotions,

life seems just as a second in time,

I'm scared....

why?...

can no one help me..

must I face these terrors alone,

in the darkness of these ripples,

while dead trees laugh at me,

mocking my very existence,

why must I feel empty and doomed,

my scales being to freeze over and fall,

as fall takes over my realm,

and I become a scale of fall...
