Orange Petals

                                   Orange petals of Desire
I seek a petal of desire,

So in fact I too, can be loved, for but one moment,
I fight to gain these petals, help me and desire,
these petals are but a small gain to a big love,
I can't remove my eyes from these petals,
 they are fascinating.

my mind, the picture burned in my memories,
Sorrow of what might become of this Sun bright orange picture,
If I too come to fall into a pit of orange rose petals, who would miss me? and why?

laying in a bed of petals, I seek a way out, searching for land away from these deepest desires hidden in my heart,
 
Reaching to the sky, but still lost inside the orange, 
Am I lost? Who will come seek me out?

I don't know who you are, but take away these petals, remove my desire from me...

extend your hand to me, and I will extend mine as well,
pick me from this pit, remove every petal from my limp body, take away the weight that holds me to this lost pit of desire, and forgotten memories that hurt my very soul...

Never again will these petals over take me. my desires will remain where they can never be let loose,
hidden they will stay, from you and from the world that wishes to seek them..

Wow! Interesting write! I thought that the style of this piece was really beautiful, and carried really strong, heartfelt emotions, which worked effectively in evoking the right sentiments for your poem. I liked the concept behind this poem, and the imagery that you created through that. There were several errors in terms of spelling/grammar that I think that you should go over, and there were moments where I felt that the flow was a little awkward, but other than that, this was a pretty solid write. :) Nice work,
