A Suicide

I fell to the ground and burst into tears

After I have loved you for so many years

You abandoned me you left, and you crushed my heart like glass

Now all I have left are memories from the past

When I heard a bang and then a dull thud

I ran upstairs and saw all the blood

I yelled out your name and ran to your side

I sat in your blood, and endlessly cried

I took your hand in mine, and pressed it to my face

You said you felt alone, you couldn't find your place

I should have listened closer, maybe you'd still be here

But I ignored your call for help, and now i live in fear

fear that one day, I'd become like you

afraid of life, knowing nothing true

You said you'd never leave me, I guess you changed your mind

and now I live broken, I still have peices yet to find

peices that you took with you, now burried in the dirt

I'm wishing I could tell you, it's not just you, your choice hurt
