HollowA Poem by Sydnye LouiseHollow Hollow heart, hollow words, split your feelings into
thirds. The pieces are empty, that’s
no surprise, I could see it through your
translucent eyes. You say that you love me,
your words are all false, I can feel your hollow lies
beneath your hollow pulse. So walk your hollow self,
far far away, for it won’t be long until you
decay. For there’s little of you,
and less of your love, You’ll just fly away like a
mourning dove. ‘Cuz your hollow tears mean
nothing to me, they just fall as the rain
into the sea. And if you should fall, you’ll
just float like a log, hollowly into the mist and
the fog. Until you get tired and
search for some land, you’ll hollowly wash up onto
some sand. There your empty soul will die ever
so slowly, because hollow you are and
hollow you’ll be. © 2012 Sydnye LouiseReviews
