What Driveway?

What Driveway?

A Story by Don Lund
"

Flash fiction fun, for the one turn that missed the mark.

"

Bricks and glass rained on the hood of the car. A large plume of dust enveloped the car, while the lighter particles floated higher in the night sky.  The driver carefully pushed away from the steering wheel.  A familiar figure appeared among the dust from the inside of the house, looking angrily into the vehicle through a cracked windshield.  Nervously smiling, the driver quietly replied, “Hi Mom, I’m home!”
