Sonnet 1

Sonnet 1

A Poem by Lwydd
"

Just a shakesperian sonnet with iambic pentameter

"
Sonnet 1 Aegean Sea sings memories of old Which revives a past, bringing forth the songs Of odysseys of life, yet they foretold The rhythmic, which to our friendship belongs. Seas of despair mermaids’ song mirror, Our Men’s fierce heart, bless us with their plea And Circe’s paradise looses glamor And the Trust mast of our boat is steady. One destination, however two ways By the same boat, to a future shall go As time and space, progressively conveys Our bodies; and our minds won’t forgo. May waves be high, winds blow strong, times be dark So great an adventure, our lives will mark.
