Your Kaleidoscope

Your Kaleidoscope

You touch me
beckoning my inner child
enticing my soul

I trust you
allowing you to caress
my distant dreams

Taking a chance
weighing the odds

I dive in

The blurred borders
of my insight
are clarified
as your kaleidoscope
penetrates my sensibilities

I really like what you have created with this one. You're first stanza is really inviting. You show us that this lover is tender; he can stimulate the deepest parts of your speaker with pure love channeled through touch.

That line about diving in is a wonderful transition that describes the communion that these two people share.

Also, I love the double entendre of the kaleidoscope is wonderful. It symbolizes the pinnacle of physical and spiritual love, the absolute transcendence of the two people. This was lovely Lydia.

Night night my Friend, N
Lydia, you achieve such a beautiful synthesis of art and verse. I must tell you that I normally don't like the "enhancement" of poetry submissions by paintings, but yours are so appropriately delicate that I can actually profit from their commentary---as if they came together at the same time!
