for today and for always

for today and for always

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

artwork by Konstatin Razumov

from the moment
the burning tongue of dawn
licks the sky
        i hunger for your touch
when red arrows of dusk
pierce through clouds
      i crave your kiss
the musky breeze whispers
to enflamed palm fronds
an inferno is sparked
     and so the yearning continues
naughty stars of night
incite passion
my soliloquy is never - changing
mon amour, pour aujourd'hui et pour toujours

This is well place passion on the page, which could've been skin the way this quivers, sweats and stretches along a skeletal structure. You can tell you put your soul in it too flesh these words...great anatomy of nature for such a circulation is inspiration...great piece

dear Lydi... your tantalizing expressions
excite the dawn of amour. Lingering in
the breeze of freesia scented passion
stirs the day with gentle passion.
truly... Pat

Sensual yet gentle sentiments lie in this poem. Amour vit éternellement dans vos coeurs et dans les cieux.
Love lives forever in your hearts and in the heavens.
