life

life

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

there is a glorious seduction

tempting me today

the breeze is salty

my thoughts less scattered

no one dares to intrude

that’s my sun up in the sky

the static of stress now tuned out

waves play a melodious tune

while tying my soul in pretty ribbons

serenity has moved roadblocks to find me

anxiety is now hogtied and hidden away

poetry slips through

the bottom of a saltwater soaked paper bag

life….i love you!

Very lovely piece, Lydi :-) life and its magical elements have much to offer and our thoughts can only perceive it. This poetry captured that beauty and essence of life very naturally. Narrator seems to be submerged completely into that emotion towards life.
Wonderful and soothing piece to read.
This spreads positive vibes around.
Beautiful picture.

A beautiful, positive, life affirming piece. Some days, some moments are just like this -- sweeping away the cares and worries, just feeling, being -- you capture these moments, these truly human moments, so well with your words -- why I love to come back and read you again and again.

dear Lydi... the seduction of the sun on the water would be calming. I would also be captivated by Acrab... a blue main sequence dwarf star ... the 93rd brightest star in the night sky... pale white and lilac star (a fixed star). Lydi,
it must be beautiful to commune with the universe in all it's glory. truly, Pat
