i sketched myself with charcoal

from the day before forever

and then there was you

painting me with watercolors

delivering me into a world

bubbling with soothing hues

life was electric

filled with stardust and glitter moments

you brought waves to my lakes

injected laughter into my same-old same-old

even moths were drawn

to the windows of my soul

that’s why even now

when night falls

and my eyelids close over my heart

all i see is you

.... some people just come into our life and they change the way we see ourself... then they leave us wondering if those colors does they really stay... after a period of time... i guess in the memories and at nightfall when we close our eyes we can remember how it once felt like to be alive through their eyes ...
