Half of me is air

Half of me is air

A Poem by Lyric

Half of me is air
Half of me is bare misconception of beauty and affection of things that don't deserve it

I am disfigured. . .Although it can be hard to tell

And whatever seems fit goes
Whatever people want to see shows

I might be disappearing
My ears have stopped hearing what they've always needed to hear

"Lend me your ear, dear, lend me your ear"

But all I've ever learned to listen to is fear

I think I've been brain washed
or at least my brain isn't full anymore

I need my reputation to be ferocious
Care free and hard core

I've been programed to be a positive attention w***e
A robot and an almost worthless piece a rusty decor

So plastic you can buy me at your local all purpose dollar store
Hanging on the sales rack

And a lot if times being used to wipe the filthy floor
Come poor me a a drink

Come wall through my door
Use me

Because it's been a long time since my self worth was worth fighting for
