A revolution

A revolution

A Poem by Lyric
"

Kind of dark

"
A revolution.
A solution for our future.
A pollution free fix for a pollution filled place that will be
I see the future
I see the past it's calling me
I want a better world for me and my family.
But up the tree went my words.
Down my throat went all hope.
And down the drain went humanity.
One two three the snap of my fingers that's how fast it'll be over.
Right in front of us a dystopia is playing Red Rover.
And it can snap our chain apart like a twig.
The sky is grey the Earth is brown, something big is coming round, the sun is black the bow is wound.
The sky will fall. Without a sound.

I have no idea why, but this poem reminded me of Green Day's style of lyrics(back in their earlier days). Anyway, the poem is very well written, and would do a great job at raising awareness about the state of our world right now, and about how we need to act now, if we want to save it. :)
