I'm Not Entirely Here

I'm Not Entirely Here

A Poem by Lyss
"

a supernova of the mind within someone who hates thinking

"
Backwards hands
Cold blue skin
Will I ever see him again?

Mocking steps
Full force lunge
You say you'd never take the plunge

Broken cup
Shards like razors
Walk on them with me?
Do me this favor?

I'm tired of your laughter
Exhausted from demise
Maybe someday they'll stop asking why

I need a pill, I need a friend
I need to fast-forward until the end

Don't leave without me
Don't loosen your grip
I promise then I'll stop acting like s**t

Alyce in her neverland...

I've oft wondered ...if reality varies from person-to-person how it would be to share a kaleidoscope. Some "dreams" are so very ...tame... and few appreciate their nightmares ...I earned mine. If we can't be each "me" that we are - then who the hell are all the "I"s out here?

Fractured pieces that still tell a story. There is an emotion just under the surface here that is aggressive and begging to be set free. Your style
has me curious and wanting more.
