Dear Armelia

Dear Armelia

A Poem by Haris 'Manda' Krupalija
"

Loss/love combined.

"
In black velvet shadow I have seen your face;
dancing amidst the orchids of everlasting beauty
And in your eyes I have seen the future;
dark black, filled with transparent illusions.

Hollow and broken I walk, step by step;
following the path that will lead me to my death
But I am not afraid - I'll embrace it because of you;
yet, you do not seem to  care - it was never me and you

I'd break free of my banquet - but I don't see why;
there is nothing left for me - no soul to abide
Angels cry over my doomed fate as I lay rest to sleep;
and I wish to bid a farewell, but farewell seems too steep

Abysmal desires to become the one with you haunt me;
escape is not near, escape is lost in reality
I was always a soldier - yet now I feel like a civilian;
useless and shadowed - goodbye dear Armelia

Remember me when the time comes to be;
spell out my name and let me rest in peace
Beneath the ground where shadows cannot lurk;
there I shall sleep until the end of the world
