Tides of War

Tides of War

A Poem by MF.Womack

Look at the war you've begun
Waging battles all in the name of fun
Your ship sank long ago
Hope, love and faith all aboard
The wise tide washed your body ashore
Your lips breathed the words "I want more"
Gather up your demons and rage
Speak of freedom from the view of your cage
Set sail again only to see
You're a prisoner of an unforgiving sea
