Journey

Journey

A Poem by MOON

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

Beyond the cracked mirror to heart that is me

There are my steps in the maroon dance of my life

Do I see the lilac calm after years of strife

Tell me at the quiet end of the rainbows arc

Is it where light finds the end of the seamless dark

And then I will tell you of the grace of the soul

Perhaps where once I was broken now I am whole

Yes in sorrow there are things to have and to hold

Shards that turned into crystal dreams now just pure gold.

See the fragile warrior charging through this world

All the bitter seeds now in full promise unfurls

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

Here is my state this is where I was meant to be

With the sorrow of dark journeys I travelled far

I am both the full crimson sun and the lone star

so beautiful, sad yet sweet and complete... a short story in verses of poetry, dance in the starlight...
a closer look of what the soul yearns...
it's a shiny piece you have here...

Thanks Will , glad you enjoyed! Go well.
Mesmerizing, awe inspiring read MOON, this is one of your best in my opinion, simply lovely & bittersweet at the same time.

There are my steps in the maroon dance of my life
Do I see the lilac calm after years of strife

Love this...

Thanks Frieda , I am honoured that you enjoyed. Go well!
A lovely poem that says in song what the world says in scriptures. Perhaps we need more of this ... it is after all the truth that we live as a part and life. Nicely done Moon.

Thanks Rita, take care!
This has a reflective theme:

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

The mirror can tell you the good and the bad... yet life is about both... and not one sided as one looks at the mirror... and ask the question:

Look clearly into my eyes tell me what you see

and you end this with the end line:

I am both the full crimson sun and the lone star

Which seals the whole write for the reader....

A heart which is strong and delicate both, a life which has pain and hope too.
A beautiful write which touches the heart with its pain and brings in the hope too of standing up again.
liked it a lot.
best wishes

you are welcome.
How mesmerising, this astonishing figure with delicately arousing words, articulated so artfully with shades and colour, with eyes of the full crimson sun and of a star, really outstanding writing Moon!
