Pack up the pieces of my heart

Brown leather suitcases apart

Wind blowing changes rattles the bones

Undressed here I stand all alone

 

On this journey what awaits me

Some things they say will never be

You won’t listen foot on the stair

Run away all too hard to bear

 

Then I see your face yet again

In love where we all stand

Grace the siren song of this soul

love's forever does not die, even though people get pulled apart for one reason or another...first stanza is fabulous in wording and imagery...i could feel the bones rattling....the bones of love...the ones that will never decompose.
