I am Important

I wrote this as a way to release my emotions and get out my thoughts on Identity

I sat atop the highest summit alone with my thoughts,

Within me burned a happy sadness that slowly turned to anger

As my emotion reached a peak as high as the one I sat

I screamed unto the Universe “I am Important!”

The shout rang out across the planets and bounced from star to star.

Near and far there was no stop and there was no shy

However, there was no reply

Every ear that heard my cry lifted their voice and repeated the sigh

However, there was no reply

The shout rang out to the end of time and back to my peak

I am old now, my life is lived and my bones creak

Finally I sat alone and cold upon the peak without the answer I climbed to seek

My voice stopped with the movement of my clock

Every word said and every Idea Thought

However, there was no reply

So without my answer or belonging, I alone will surely Die
