Give in, Give up

Once I realized
The stone cold silence
Would never suffice,
I was already looking at a closed door.

The shelter doesn't belong to me
It doesn't harbor those that won't accept it
And maybe I'll need another outlet
But for now, I'm gone.

The words come fron a cold shadow
Harsh, but always right
"Give in to the happiness.
Let it set you free."

Maybe I should
Maybe I'm wrong
Give in, give up.
The choice is mine alone
