Always Present

For anyone who needs it

I'll always be there to pick up the pieces

I am always present.

No matter if you've given up hope
Even if the light at the end of the tunnel is not shining
I am here to be your ever present guide
I won't let you lose your way
I am always present.

No matter how worthless you feel
I am here to promise you otherwise
When you feel unwanted and alone
I'm here to assure you that it's not so
I am always present.

When no one will stand by you
When no one will love you
When you don't even love yourself
When you feel you have nothing to gain
I am always present.

Author's Note

This was just a poem to get my thoughts out about suicide prevention. Remember that you always have worth and meaning. That at least one person loves you and would be devastated if you were gone tomorrow. I am always here to talk to, no matter what.
