Oh how I love it so!

Oh how I love it so!

A Poem by The Morbid The Merrier
"

would you love darkness? welcome death?

"

Death

That one word that would send most trembling

Everyone wants to go to Heaven

But no one wants to die

How ironic....

Darkness

I look at it right in the face

What is there to fear?

Many find it frightening, scary

Yet we sleep in darkness

Again, how ironic....

Some find comfort in darkness

I know I do

Misery is my company

Darkness is my lover

Death is my companion

Sorrow is my friend

What is there to fear?...

Nothing....

Do you fear death?

Want to escape the dark?

probably....

Do I want to escape the darkness?

no, I embrace it

Do I fear Death?

No, I welcome it with a smile.

And I guess you have some expertise in the area of death and dying and you are not a sinner? I think people are always afraid of the unknown...no matter what it is, they are also afraid of punishment and ending up in hell...who wants to go there? Not me!! I believe that people actually choose hellfire by their premeditated actions. I found this an interesting piece, I would like to read some more of your work when I have time. You need to be careful about throwing around the 666, they are just numbers, but they stand for everythng tasteless and evil. Personally...I like the light, it has so much more to offer.
Cheers,
Helen :-)

I really like the way you write.
and your opinions even if i dont agree
sometimes its not the darkness only what hides in it
and because it shields evil it is no friend of mine.
and death is seperate from heaven
you must die to get there but everyone dies alone (unless you die in a plane crash or something)
Its just what comes with those things that people fear.

Nice, your poem nicely outlines the irony of life and death and the contradictory nature of humanity

It is ironic. I don't get why people are afraid of death or the dark...It was very well written, keep up the good work!
