Chapter (5) LOVE IS BLIND

Chapter (5) LOVE IS BLIND

A Chapter by MAD ENGLISHMAN

LOVE IS BLIND

Perusing, cruising the net, in parlance modern.

Passing time on pages boring, ignoring, time wasting,

and yet, one brief glance a photo found by chance.

From the first I knew I had to have you.

The cost of love ,you do not count, it matters not the amount,

only that you shall be together forever.

The deal's made, the payments paid, from afar you came into my life.

We did not meet till first we joined, yet you care not.

You do not understand my words, and I care not.

From  first found photo I knew, I was in love with you.

A picture so pretty made me spell bound.

Though I had not need, nor sought a wife,

You have become the one truth of my aged life.

Too old to spend my days alone, to know that you are mine and mine alone.

You are all of my days and nights, you are the strength of my fights .

I care not what others may think,

too old to care if I choose to share my life with one so young.

My life savings spent on you, so that I can go through

the rest of my days in pleasure, in leisurely pursuits together.

I hold you as I breathe in your scents your smells,

your form and shape casting spells, that engulf my senses.

You bare your all for me to savour, your beauty to devour.

You let me bathe you in warmed and scented water,

my hands slide slow, and sense the silkiness of you.

The soft suds twixt skin and skin

The white froth,  slides sensuous around your wholesome curves

I watch the slow progress as it falls between your bodys' bounty.

I dry you with towels of finest cotton no part of you forgotten.

And at days' end and the night descends upon our love.

the skies above filled with stars hangs the cloth of sleep upon us.

Our home,  new, designed for you, is clean and warm

So that no harm will reach us.

I sleep beside you, and you knowing that you are the focus of my life.

In fact you are my new car.

My new Ford Focus.

It IS loosely based on me. I do browse the net but only for friends and nice cars.
Very clever, loved the twist at the end, Just that one single word 'Ford,' gave this poem a whole different meaning.

Men feel that way about their cars. I don't understand it, though I once heard a Chevy Blazer call my name from a used car lot, and we bonded instantly. But it was never the love of mylife.

I own a Ford Ranger pickup truck and I have similar feelings for it. It's a guy thing.

We have a saying over here. You can lend someone your wife but you never lend anyone your car.

Finest cotton is expensive as it is close to silk itself, well expressed, congrats

You welcome, take care friend, keep going
Ha I was waiting for a punchline knowing you, but didn't expect that! Too bad it wasn't a model of the female persuasion, it was such a sweet poem.

I hold you as I breathe in your scents you smells...I tripped over this line, not sure what you meant...'your smell' perhaps.

Ooooops yep will get that corrected. Doesn't read too romantic as is. Many thanks.
Love is bathing you in the warmth curvy focus. Skin only is nothing compared to the wholesome. You leisurely pursue what engulfs the senses. Bravo, sir...:).................
