Chapter (9) THE FLY

JUST A LITTLE ONE FOR KIDDIES.

I watched a fly as he flew by

I saw him look into my eye.

His little wings they flapped so fast

I wondered if his strength would last.

He flipped and turned and whizzed about,

Excited I gave my Dad a shout.

The fly he flew to where I sat

Then Dad came in, and squashed him flat.

Well that is what you do to flies; you squash them flat, no matter how fascinating they are.
