Hollywood Fame

Hollywood Fame

A Poem by Ritz

Gossip made them act
Street screams, corner laughs
A justified reaction for what they lacked
So many buried secrets, excavated on behalf
Of smiles, and used as chitchat

Fear made them sing
Sleepless nights, cowards in fights
Fabric of lies weaved by fame
Masked and twined by innocence and shame
Implied, they said, simplicity to divide
The truth and lucre or so they thrived
So,
Along they came, a lonely road
Alone they were, a lonely glance
Strife broke when they demised
Weakened thoughts, yet hope defined...
