Grandma

Grandma

A Poem by AmeliaGerhardt

Tell me,
Who got the strength
you lost while wilting
away in that hospital bed?

Why did she not linger
in that room and
bring me comfort as
I stared at your
lifeless body?

A very sad poem shared Amelia. I sat in a room with my father and grandmother. Brake your heart when you sit with someone you loved. Being took by death. I'm sorry for your loss. We never forget our kind elder.
