Writing

I write

To release the building pressure,

and noise in my head.

I write

to share with the world

the beauty of words.

I write

in hopes that someone

will understand the chaos

I write

to know, and let others know

we are not alone

I write

because my heart,

leaves me no other choice

I write

because words are who I am

I agree with your thoughts and your logic. I write for the same reasons. I need to write and read. Writing can allow us to know peace and release needed thoughts to paper. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
