Oh Haylee

Oh Haylee

A Poem by Outsider
"

My imaginary friend

"

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

I miss you so much

I wish you were here

Or we stayed in touch

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

You're the best there ever will be

I don’t understand why

My mother says you’re bad for me

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

You help me when I’m sad

You help me remember

How to be glad

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

I don’t know if I can go on

I need you here

I feel so weak with you gone

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

I’m now in tears

I feel so alone

Here come my fears

Oh Haylee oh Haylee

Please turn on the light

Because I have a feeling

I’m going to die tonight

There is a beautiful light here, and a tragic darkness that rises in the music of this song of your soul. Sometimes we need a world within us to save us from the world around us.
