Faint is the whisper

Faint is the whisper

A Poem by Magdelena

I am here, there, everywhere
I see all
Yet blind
For I live in the darkest recess of my mind.

There I move about
Unseen, for windows blackened
Words I send forth, unheard
For faint is the whisper.

For every single word
Gesture, I do try
Only to have tears fall upon the dampness
I am lost in all this.

This so called space I call life
So much pain
So much strife
Where does it end?

I ask of myself
Am I to walk among all
Yet no one hears my shout?
My tearful call?

Or see my hand which is held out
Take it, I plead!
Walk me to the light
Bring forth the joys.

Of this world I walk in
Yet to me is a void
Of meaningless wonder
Nothing as it seems.

For faint is the whisper
No relief does it ever bring..

how sad to feel the darkness and not have the accesibility to joy...one who feels this surely has not felt even the slightest of joy...sadly...

nice work...
