"I fell in love tonight"

Love is so special....

I fell in love tonight!
It was not quick.. Nor slow..
As I stood on the side of the crowded room I saw him.
His eyes..Watching..

I felt my breath slowly stop,
the sound of my heart.. As it began to beat louder.
The music played on.. People danced..
Yet he just stood, as if in a trance..

Across a crowded room..
With people moving all around..
I found love tonight..
Softly..like a whisper..The softest of sounds.. 

My hand shook ever so slightly,
as I moved my hair behind my ear.
His eyes watching..That potent stare.

Then he moved..

Towards me..
'Dear God' I heard myself whisper softly.
My eyes not moving from this man,
His steps brought him closer..Like he had a plan.

And like a light bulb flashing,
sparks flew in front of my eyes.
I felt his presence.. His scent moved my way.
Like a dream lover, real silent they stay.

Without realizing, I started to move.
My steps slow.. My nerves unglued.
Like two ships in the night.
that might soon collide..

Yet I threw caution to the wind.
For suddenly I didn't care..
In a room full of people it was like no one else was there.
His hand he held out..Seconds later I felt mine in his.

Then we started for the dance floor, my body next to his.
A slow song was on. Our bodies glued together.
We molded so right.. Like I had known him forever
Our bodies began to sway, like we've been this way before.

My hand held tightly in his, like he didn't want to let go.
My head laid on his shoulder, I inhaled his soft musky sent.
My head swooned with passion, my body ached with all I've dreamt.
He lead with strong command, just what I craved.

I closed my eyes and silently prayed.
Then his soft whisper in my ear told me my prayers had been made.
He walked to my things, then slowly took my hand.
Outside then, our path already planed.

For to the dreams of a new horizon, of heavens decent.
I would find within his arms..
This man with the strength, the one with the charms.

And as I walked with him this night...
I couldn't help but think..
Of all that I had, all that I need.

He turned to me at that moment.
And gave me a smile so bright.
Like the star up in heaven,
I knew this was so right.

Yes... I fell in love tonight.

Ohh this was sensational... so full of passion.. lust and the hope of something sooo much more! I have experienced this very same thing once.. time stood still... I thought my heart stopped it was such a high moment! Sadly my experience had the hope, lust and even love but did not last! I loved the flow of this, the rhythm and rhyme was so magnetizing.. drawing me in to read further.. quenching my desire to read and feel that of which you have beautifully conveyed here. Such fantasy most do not believe they could fall to.. I never thought I would in such a setting.. I am not the type to start relationships in such ways.. but how high that passion surely was!
