Have you ever felt so numb,
so numb everything around you was a blur?
Completely irrevelant to how you were and your state of mind.
Have you ever felt so empty as everything fell apart?
You watched as your life fell to Hell
As you could do nothing
As people left
As dreams shattered
As you lost yourself
As you lost yourself to everything
The pain
The lies
The disgust
The everyday life
You feel yourself slip away slowly
What to do?
Beg and plead to unhearing ears as you fall in the pit
Or be silent and allow life to take its course and your very breath
This numbness has taken you over now, completely conquering you
Becoming your home, your life
You've lost yourself
What are you to do?
How are you to act?
What is to become of you?
