Scorch It.

Scorch It.

A Poem by MaggieManipulation

A poem inspired by City by Hollywood Undead

Do you feel it?
The heat off the inferno
The scorching of the flames that will be the end of you.
The end of all of you.

Standing in the field,
The flames surround you
Consuming your thoughs, your emotions, your whole being.

You feel the heat like a thousand suns play with your skin,
Act as if it touches you and can control you,
When in reality you're its master.

You've created it,
Allowed it to play on your playground,
Allowed it to dance on you dancefloor.

You watch as the flames jump and dance,
like your own little puppet in your own personal show.

It brightens these night sky's,
Its synyster being waking all that sleep,
All that dares to ignore it.

It shows its strength and power by destroying,
All, Everything,

Nothing left untouched,
Nothing left unpurified by these flames.

And you stand in the middle of it,
The feeling of dominance and strength as your creation does your work

With no thought,
No effort,
No objections.
