I Will Write

I Will Write

A Poem by Guardian Of The Lost

I will willingly write woefully while writhing in pain

For she is the love of my life that is loved in vain

Her figure is perfect, curvier than a winding road

Yet her personality is that of a blistering toad

I am a fool who fell in love with such a mess

But God damn she looks fine in that dress

I will write stories of how your beauty inspired me

However, this tale, folks, does not end in glee

You see, this woman teaches demonology so willfully

That any man who encounters her falls ever so tragically

But, HAA, no, naw, not me, I stand as strong and tall as a tree

For I am no mere man but a man who has learned from controversy

I will write for everyone else to see how much of a fraud you appear to be

And while others do not know who you truly are, I do, and you are not my star

Your beauty is everything you possess along with your supple caress

And yet I am no longer under duress or distress, but I digress

However, I must confess that I acquiesce, and once more address,

That nevertheless you still look so God damn good in that dress

Your meter is inconsistent.

Interesting content, poorly executed.
