The hopeful dreamers

The hopeful dreamers

A Poem by Malia

When you wish up on a star
Fairy dust so sweet and far
A young child floating in the clouds
With dreams of chance and hope
Crumbled away at the world she lives in
Fairytales to never give up on
Magic wands and pixie dust only shimmer in dreams
Lighting strikes with havoc heights fill rich soil beneath her feet
Charming stories with no tales of glory in this reality
True loves kiss, oh to be but a myth!
For she is surrounded by killers
Killers of dreams, hopes, and laughter
In this world our hearts are blind
But in fairytale land all are kind
Let all be done by those who destroy shine
For I sweet princess am divine
I will devour your lips with kisses unfit
Blood soaks glittery shoes this isnt happening, take me to Kansas
No yellow brick road my dear
Just a couple of happily never afters to fear
For the sweetest and fairest of them all
In this world girls who dream such will fall
