Hold me and throw me away

Hold me and throw me away

A Poem by Malia

Like a plastic bag
Like a wasted napkin
I float across the counter to be pushed around and never touched.
Had my use for items inside me never be used but put away in the cupboard to glance at.
I never did anything right with you.
I always missed a spot of the counter you wanted clean.
Look at that spot of jelly on the counter!
Although I didn't see it because my white paper thin self couldnt view that spot.
Can't you ever look at things? You rip, tear, and are useless.
What good can a bag do if not hold precious items to carry.
What importance is a napkin if it can't clean anything.
I'll tell you one thing I was plastic that now cost 10 cents and my napkin was paper thin old and cheap.
But you wouldn't know that because you never took the time to see what I was doing while you were dismissive with your clouded judgement. Guess you should opt out for a those dollar grocery bags and a towel to clean up.

WHAT A WONDERFUL POEM THIS IS.

The imagery of the napkin and plastic bag, a metaphor for a little moment of your life, has been masterfully, poetically written here.

YOU ARE A DEEP POET!!

WELL DONE!!!
