Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Manda
"

4 Seasons all shortly explained in one short poem

"
As summer comes to an end
We say goodbye to the heat
And the long lasting sun

Soon we are saying hello
To Autumn
And its brightly colored leaves

The ground will be covered
With leaves
Reds, yellows, and oranges

Nights will grow shorter
And soon will the heat
Life will grow cold

As Winter will soon approach us
The grown will be white
And frozen cold

The sun will be shut out
Hidden from the clouds
Which will drop snow

Months will go on
And soon Spring will near
Bringing life back above

Flowers will blossom
Nights will grow warm
And lively with bugs

Shortly after Summer will arrive
And once again the heat
And the long nights will be back again.

The poem told a real story. Summer is nice for the young and the free of great responsibilities. I like your description of the change. I did like the ending. The seasons come too quickly for the old folks. Thank you for the excellent poem.

It is a great write.
I enjoyed your poem as if seated in a moving vehicle and watching seasons at different places as the vehicle is passing along a circular track.
It is really a series of vivid pictures of seasons.

Thanks for the great gesture.
"As Winter will soon approach us
The grown will be white
And frozen cold" - was my favorite part. And like you said, the flow wasn't consistent, but I don't think that made it any less of a good write. Another great job!

A very nice prose. I couldn't have penned it better myself. :)

How beautifully you remind us that though we walk through winter... the darkness and chill... we will once more share the new life of spring, the heat of summer, and the glories of autumn... Thank you, Manda!
