a poem about all my past boyfriends up until my husband!

I remember

Feeling lost and confused

Wondering why I couldn't love

Now I know its because

I hadn't found you

I remember

Chasing through halls with him

Thinking "I don't care where this goes"

Being heartbroken when he said goodbye

And its because I hadn't found you

I remember

Asking him to prom, he was my friend

But I was so much more to him, and I knew

So I said my goodbye, wondering if I would ever feel love

And its because I hadn't found you

I remember

Being so in lust with a man

I thought it was love, I was wrong

I was heartbroken when he didn't respond

And its because I didn't know you

I remember

Being fond about him, but never in love

I ignored him until he said goodbye

Ashamed at not being able to love, was I broken?

But its because I hadn't found you

I remember

Holding your hand, knowing I liked it too much

Then you asked me to be your Wendy, and I gave Pan a kiss

So when we finally said our "I do's" I knew

Its because at last I have found you!

The Wendy thing was really cute. I like this poem. It kind of fits into everyone's life. There's even a song which is along the same lines. 'On My Way' by Boyce Avenue.

Aww so cute, the Wendy thing. I liked this poem a lot. Very good. It's always a long road, love, but so worth it when you finally find the right one. And oh so painful heartbreak, and oh so amazing how it goes away when you find the person to glue back together all of the pieces. very well written!
