No Other!

No Other!

A Poem by Marcus

You told me you'd never leave
that's what you said to me.
I put my heart in your hands
but you made a tight fist and watched it crumble ridiculous.
I learned to walk alone again
picked up the pieces from the floor
I'm hurting like never before
ever since you turned away and walked out the door.
If I could find you now
I'd tell you that I'm sorry, don't worry
I'm doing just fine on my own
but if I could get you alone
I'd show you, just how much you mean to me
Show you everything that we could be
and how I was made for you
just how you were made for me.
You were best friend, my lover
the one and only, there isn't any other.

Your poetry is so raw, and realistic. It's wonderful. All types of poetry is great, but this is really good. A very powerful write as always, Marcus.

*Hides face in my hands*

Why is it that all of your poems relate to my life!?
