Just RelaxA Poem by Joshua McCawAs I sit here and needlessly worry, time feels as though it has ceased to pass. It's as if Father Time himself has corked the passage from which the sands of time hastily flow before retiring for the endless night. The anxiety will only ebb away when she finally returns home safely. Only then will my tired eyes close and my quickened heartbeat will finally ease. I know worrying is senseless and unfounded, but what can I do? I've always been this way. A nervous, anxious mess who will probably never know how to just sit back and relax.
