A Poem by Margaret Marie Hubbard

Bled on roses white
Grab my wrist
and hold me tight
Sing those pretty lies
Don't back down
More than angels fly
Fallout from this war
Broken dreams
Pain knocking on my door
Break these eternal chains
Let me loose
Freedom from the pain
Promises lost in smoke
Beautiful love lyrics
Take that one last toke
Inhaled comforting smells
Drowning in greed
Wasted time in hell
Run far from home
Spinning in webs
With Heaven to roam
