All This MoneyA Poem by Maria RetzI got inspired by Michal Jackson's situation. I don't say that he is or isn't guilty, this poem is just with thought in mind that what if a person who is innocent is accused? Please only leave reviews about the actual poem, not about him :)
All this money,
do you care
for all this money?
Yet, do you dare?
Do you dare
to hurt somebody,
to get the money?
Hurting him,
torturing him,
accusing him
for a wrong crime.
How would you feel it?
Accused, accused.
Wanted, wanted.
How do you thrill
your child
with misery,
to get the money?
How do you do it:
turn the whole nation,
to get the money?
Do you not care
for the life of others?
Do you dare?
oh, do you dare?
Just hurt him,
yes, torture him,
you get the money.
What about guilt?
What about conscience?
Do you have it?
Do you care for it?
How can you think
of happiness?
How can you think
of love?
while robbing it
from another,
to get the money.
Is it so important?
Accuse him, torture him,
he’s guilty, he’s guilty.
Turn the whole court,
turn each single man on Earth,
you can turn them all.
Turn them against him,
you will get the money,
you will get the money.
For he’s afraid,
Yes, he is frightened.
You can abuse him
and accuse him,
turn your children
against him
and kill his future.
You get the money.
Frighten the nation,
frighten the world,
make him a monster,
a simple criminal.
Kill all his hopes,
torture and bind
his fate to the
destiny of hell.
For hell is the feeling
of being unfairly judged,
for abusing a child.
It’s sickening,
It is sickening,
Yet, is it true?
You make good advantage
of people’s doubt,
killing the love
they had before.
We have come to the point
where I ask you a question:
‘Whom is abusing whom?
when all you care for
is money,
no matter of
the consequence of others,
to live with
this judgement
for the rest of his life?’
What about guilt?
What about conscience?
Do you have it?
Do you care for it?
How can you think
of happiness?
How can you think
of love?
while robbing it
from another,
to get the money.
Is it so important?
Accuse him, torture him,
he’s guilty, he’s guilty.
