Halloween Treat

Halloween Treat

A Story by Dave

"Halloween Treat"
How beautifully the splatters of blood added color to the walls of the dreary old house, a relic of years gone by.  It seemed to spring to life infused with this much needed contribution. Slipping and sliding through the trauma on the floor, he made his way slowly, cautiously, to the moaning he heard coming from far down the hallway he believed led to the cellar.
He could scarcely believe his eyes walking under chandeliers that were cleared of dust, but were adorned with still bright red, wet human innards.  As he walked down the hall the moans got louder and louder until he was at the door that led down to the cellar.  Grasping the handrail, he was fearful of slipping on the slime that appeared to be what was left of a shattered brain along with an eyeball of two.
He was about to turn around and leave when another deep moan urged him onward.  Slowly he made his way downstairs and looked around.  Taking in all the unfathomable gore he noticed the source of the moans in a far corner tied to a post with heavy rope.  She was stunning in her beauty.  Her long blond tresses flowed profusely over her slender form.  Her blue eyes flashed bright she saw him.  Inviting him, pleading non-verbally with him to release her from her bonds.
Among the mess he found a  huge butchers' knife and cut away her ropes.  Without a word she kissed him and thanked him for rescuing her.
"I'm ever so grateful,"she told him, "for coming to help me decorate for Halloween."
While he stood looking confused she gave him another long kiss and sank her fangs into his inviting neck.

Ouch! What a tough lesson to learn. Wasn't the blood, eyeballs and innards enough to say, "turn around and leave, you fool!" This is a fun little Halloween piece, Dave.
