Jeanne's Song

Jeanne's Song

A Poem by Mary C

Whisper soft
   and I will listen.
You graced my life,
   enriched my soul.

Time recedes.
Winter beckons.
Muted bells quietly toll.

Now on wings,
   your soul dances,
loosed of trapping
   and Earthly woe.

Beautiful spirit
   freed forever,
embraced in love,
   you gently go.
