To The Chosen Few

I am a simple girl with a complicated dream.

I know I'm young, but I am not what I seem.

I am not ignorant.

I am not a fool.

I can do this.

After all, I did go to school.

I may not have finished, but I know more than you may think.

Behind this childish persona is a girl with a pen and some ink.

My parents never believed,

nor have they ever conceived 

that this dream would come true.

It's still a work-in-progress,

but hear me when I say, "I believe in all of you!"

One of my mantras is: Some say the pen is mightier than the sword. I say MY pen IS a mighty sword. Wield it as you will, and know that even bad responses are still responses!!! Indifference is the real killer in this world.
