Discouraged

Discouraged

A Poem by Mason
"

How can such a lonely Moon, whose only light he steals from the Sun, ever compare?

"
You love that sun with all your heart.
  When the sun rises,
    you look closely,
      too closely.
  When the sun sets,
    you sleep deeply,
      too deeply.
He is your everything.

The moon goes unnoticed.
He is there during the night,
and even there during the day,
He remains unnoticed.

Discouraged,
  he becomes New once more.
