Business Suit Appendages

Business Suit Appendages

A Poem by Jesse Lancaster
"

He wants $20.

"
blank
slate
stretched out silhouette
against the white of my
absent eyes that catch mine
limbs to hold my own and more
comfort, strange darkness
this place I can't seem to
place a finger on
but I tell myself to trust
rather than fear
unlike those that have come
and those that have gone
whenever I turn around
you're still here
ever still yet always in motion
I've come to see you're

pale
alone
searching

like me.
