Emotion

A Poem by Mavis Bard

Hey there
You there
What did you come to see?
Did you come to see me?

Hey girl
Kiss curl
I want to make you feel alive
To the tone of my progressive lullaby

The warm thrill of confusion
Fades into the illusion
The melodic tune rolls from my fingers
As your body motion bounces and lingers
Do you know what it's like to fly?
I see you're drawn towards the sky
Well it's alright now just close your eyes
And fly away to the tone of my lullaby
