Lie down with me, friendA Poem by MaxLie down with me, friend, and see the wind blow through the grass. Hold my hand and watch the clouds and let the time fly past.
Lie here with me, friend, and listen to the stream flow by. Hold me in your arms while the sun moves through the sky.
Lie here beside me, friend, and smell the scent of spring. Kiss me softly on the lips as the birds so sweetly sing.
Lie here inside me, friend, and feel a lover's warmth. Caress me with your hands as our sacred bond takes form.
Tell me, friend, if such perfect bliss comes straight from nature's whim, then how could this at all be wrong, and such happiness be sin?
Stand up with me, friend, Let's leave it all behind. Somewhere out there, far beyond this freedom we will find.
Run now with me, friend, Together free we'll be. No more will we be kept apart by those who cannot see.
Together we'll escape this past. This love, this joy, we'll live at last. Max Levites - 3/9/11 © 2011 MaxReviews
